Fiber Arts Show / Western Reserve Rug Hookers Guild Annual Rug Show
Lake Metroparks Farmpark June 17– July 10, 2011
The Fiber Art show showcases works of fine artistry in fiber arts and fiber textiles, featuring works from the Western Reserve Rug Hookers Guild.
Entries will be on display in the Visitor Center. View nearly 200 pieces of fiber art, including knitted, crocheted, woven, and felted items as well as hand-hooked rugs.
People’s Choice award in each category is based on votes by the public viewing the show.Be sure to vote for your favorite i n each of five categories.
Farmpark admission applies to view the Fiber Arts Show.
The Fiber Arts Show is a feature of the annual Woolfest where visitors discover how hand-spun products are created from the fleece of farm animals. Get an up-close look at fiber-producing animals and a marketplace featuring fiber art vendors from across the Midwest. Demonstrations of herding, animal shearing, and fiber processing are highlighted throughout the weekend.
