The Nature of Watercolors

Watercolors have been used by artists for centuries to capture the spontaneous beauty of nature. Let the members of “The Paint Company” introduce you to this delicate yet tricky medium with this exhibit of their paintings during a new fall exhibit in the nature center at Penitentiary Glen Reservation.  The show opens this Saturday, August 18 and is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday through October 9.

Some of the artwork will be for sale with proceeds benefiting the nature programming at Penitentiary Glen Reservation.

“The Paint Company” is a local group of watercolor artists and their artistic impressions of the natural world.   Admission to the show is free to all ages.  For more information about The Nature of Watercolors art show, click here.
